BF2000 flame retardant silicone sponge is an ultra-soft silicone foam designed for low closure force sealing applications where reliable environmental protection is required. Its high compressibility allows it to conform to uneven surfaces and variable gaps, making it ideal for sealing enclosures, protecting electronics from heat and shock, and providing effective vibration isolation and cushioning.
This high-performance silicone sponge offers excellent memory, low stress relaxation, and strong resistance to UV, ozone, and extreme temperatures, ensuring long-term durability in demanding indoor and outdoor environments.
Common applications include gaskets and seals in electronics, automotive, aerospace, and rail industries, including HVAC systems, door seals, lighting gaskets, and display protection.
Supplied in black, BF2000 silicone sponge can be slit to any width from stock sheeting, with lengths dependent on roll size. Thicknesses range from 3.2mm to 12.7mm, with optional PSA backing available for ease of installation.

Description
BISCO BF-2000 Ultra Soft is a highly compressible silicone foam with the right combination of low weight and softness. It is ideal for applications requiring low-closure force and dust sealing. BF-2000 silicone’s ultra-low softness allows designers to use less force to seal enclosures while still protecting devices from the environment. This material is perfect for vibration-isolation in electronic components and transportation vehicles. BF-2000 foam is also ideal for low-closure force gaskets within portable electronics such as laptops and LCD screens within aircraft and rail interiors.
