Where homogenous silicone is not strong enough for the desired application, a range of braided reinforcements are available. Braided hoses are available from Silex stock in 3mm to 50mm bore sizes, with a polyester yarn or monofilament for reinforcement. Glassfibre reinforcement is also available.
For food and pharmaceutical applications, Silex stock a large range of translucent Platinum cured braided hose, offering no peroxide by-products and non-yellowing properties.
