Platinum cured silicone rubber section in 60° Shore A hardness. Excellent for applications requiring good sealing properties at high and low temperatures.
Platinum cured silicones offer a number of advantages over conventional peroxide cured silicones. Favoured by the food and beverage industry, platinum cured silicone is non-yellowing with no peroxide by-products, a high tear strength with excellent clarity and high gloss finish.
These sections are suitable for use from -40°C up to +200°C with capabilities at 230°C intermittently. Fully compliant to FDA 177.2600 and EC 1935/2004, Platinum Cured Section is suitable for applications requiring direct food contact.
