SIL15 FDA Sponge Strip is a medium-density, mainly closed-cell silicone sponge available in white. This platinum-cured material conforms to FDA 177.2600 and EC 1935/2004 standards.
Commonly used in gasket and sealing applications, particularly in the food processing industry due to its FDA conformity, this product is also popular in electronics, automotive, HVAC, lighting, and marine industries.

Performance & Compliance
Performs reliably across a wide temperature range from –40°C to +200°C.
To ensure optimal performance, compression should not exceed 30% of the original thickness.
Complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 & 175.300, German BfR Recommendation XV, and EU 1935/2004
food contact standards. Also meets flammability requirements of FAR 25 / JAR 25 / CS25 Appendix F
and FMVSS 302 automotive standard.
