Silicone Sponge Sheet, Strips, Cords and Profiles
Where applications demand the physical properties and characteristics of silicone rubber, but in an alternative sponge form, Silex can deliver. An extensive range of sheeting, cord and strip is available immediately from stock.
Specific sections and various densities and colour are manufactured to order.
Currently Silex offers four standard densities of SIL10, SIL16, SIL24 and SIL33, with respective apparent densities of 10, 16, 24 and 33 Ib. per cubic foot.
The most popular silicone sponge is in our grade SIL16 and represents the bulk of our stock. Strip, sections and sheeting are available with adhesive backing and in special grades such as flame retardant should this be required. We also offer the service of supplying washers, gaskets, fabrications and assemblies in our silicone sponge.
