Silicone Braided and Mandrel Built Hoses
Silex pioneered the market for clear and braided silicone hose, first introducing this rugged product to the UK at a time when existing non-silicone hoses were failing to perform. This range has been extended and complemented with the addition of mandrel built hoses, so that customers can now choose from 3mm bore to 152mm bore.
Standard braided hoses are available in 3mm to 25mm bore sizes in coils up to 25/50m. Whilst the mandrel built hoses range from 12.5mm to 152mm bore in lengths of typically 1, 4 and 5 meters.
We offer from stock platinum cured hose in translucent where clarity and hygiene is paramount and also in a peroxide cured silicone with a red outer cover for less demanding industrial applications.
Our mandrel built reinforced silicone hoses enable multi-layer reinforcement, inclusion of helix wire for vacuum applications and the ability to increase the size range up to 152mm bore.
An extensive stock of silicone braded hose is also available in platinum and peroxide cured grades.
